A designated hop-on, hop-off bus service called “Akaikutsu” operates around Yokohama city on two routes: Route C (Chinatown and Motomachi) and Route M (Minatomirai). Route C runs out of Sakuragicho Station to Bashamichi Station, the Red Brick Warehouses, Chinatown, Yamashita-koen Park, and other stops before returning to Sakuragicho Station.
Route M runs out of Sakuragicho Station, circling the sightseeing spots in the Minatomirai area such as the Anpanman Museum, Queens Square, Pacifico Yokohama, the Cup Noodle Museum, and the Red Brick Warehouses.
“Akaikutsu” – Special Sightseeing Spot Access Bus
A single fare for one adult costs 220 yen, making it advantageous to opt for the Minato-Burari ticket, Minato-Burari wide ticket, or the 1-day ticket.
Minato-Burari tickets allow hop-on, hop-off services from Yokohama to Motomachi, Harbor View Park (Minato-no-Mieru Oka Koen) and Sankeien Gardens on the Yokohama Municipal Bus, and from Yokohama station to Isezaki-chojamachi station on the Yokohama Municipal Subway Blue Line. The Minato-Burari wide ticket can be used as far as Shin-Yokohama Station on the subway, perfect for Yokohama sightseeing in the interval between IAAF World Relays YOKOHAMA 2019. In addition, the ticket includes discounts at selected shops and facilities such as Yokohama Ramen Museum.
